This delightful Valentine’s Day Shadow Box Card 3D SVG project is so much fun to create! It can be illuminated with an LED light string or they can be omitted. Either way your loved one will adore it! If you prefer to ship your card flat, there is a pretty envelope file along with a valentine to stamp or write a sentiment. Your special someone will be able to illuminate it by placing the card in front of a bright lamp or LED votive. It casts a gorgeous pink glow at night! This would make a fabulous wedding card or wedding decor too!. It would be beautiful in white with pearlized, silver or gold accents.
If you wish, you could enlarge the file and insert into a shadow box frame (see my other shadow box tutorials for assembly outline)

12” X 12” Electronic Cutting Machine (Silhouette Cameo, Cricut Explore/Air/One,Cricut Explore Air Two, Cricut Maker, Brother Scan NCut and Sizzix Eclips2)
Silhouette Designer Edition or Cutting Software that accepts SVG files
Newer Cutting Blade (blade should be sharp for cutting of intricate design details)
12” x 12” Cutting Mat (medium sticky)-mat should be sticky enough to hold paper in place but not overly sticky that it rips fine detail pieces upon removal.
3 Sheets of 8.5” x 11” 65-80 lb Red Cardstock
4 Sheets of 8.5” x 11” 65-80 lb White Cardstock
1 Sheet of 8.5” x 11” 65 lb to 80 lb Dark Pink/Fuschia cardstock
3 Sheets of 8.5” X 11” 65 lb-80 lb Medium Pink Cardstock.
1 Sheet of 8.5” X 11” 65 lb-80lb Light Pink Cardstock.
2 Sheets of 8.5” X 11” 65 lb-80 lb Lightest Pink Cardstock for Sky and River layer. Hold paper to light to see if enough light passes through
2 Sheets (or 3 sheets if making unlit card) of 8.5” X 11” Vellum
Optional: 3 Sheets of 12” X 12” 65 lb Medium Pink Cardstock for envelope of unlit card
Craft Tweezers
1/4” Glue tape or Scor Tape (optional)
Toothpicks for applying glue
Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue (or any quick drying paper glue that dries clear)
20 LED seed/rice light string or other LED light strings (**ONLY USE LEDs lights-other types of lights run too hot)
Batteries for LED light
2.5 “ approx of velcro (to attach battery pack to card)
